Overview
At the core of the ARG 330 plus F lies a completely redesigned bandsaw arm casting. The arm forms a hollow closed section along its entire length, creating an extremely rigid structure capable of maintaining cutting accuracy even when processing large and heavy metal sections.
This structural concept minimizes vibration and blade deflection, allowing the machine to maintain stable cutting performance across a wide range of materials.
The machine uses an industrial saw band measuring 34 × 1.1 mm, specifically designed for accurate cutting of large cross-sections. Different blade types are available to handle materials ranging from standard structural steel to stainless steel and tool steel.
Feed into the cut is performed by the weight of the saw arm, with smooth continuous regulation provided by an oil damper butterfly valve. Once the cut is completed, the band drive automatically switches off.
Manual arm uplift is supported by adjustable tension springs, allowing operators to adjust the lifting force according to the weight and characteristics of the material being processed.
High-rigidity arm construction
The hollow closed-section casting used in the saw arm significantly increases system rigidity. This design improves structural stability and minimizes vibration, ensuring consistent cutting precision even when working with large metal sections.
The arm is mounted on a heavy-duty turntable supported on both sides by massive housings with prestressed tapered roller bearings. This configuration guarantees precise positioning and smooth rotation during angular cutting operations.
Gravitation feed control
The cutting feed is controlled by gravity through the weight of the saw arm. Operators can precisely regulate the feed rate using the oil damper butterfly valve, ensuring optimal cutting pressure for different materials.
Adjustable tension springs assist with arm lifting and allow the lifting force to be matched to the characteristics of the material being processed.
Variable blade speed control
A frequency converter allows continuous blade speed adjustment between 15 and 90 m/min, enabling optimal cutting conditions for various materials such as:
This speed control improves both cutting efficiency and blade service life.
Robust structural design
The entire machine structure is composed of grey cast iron castings, providing excellent vibration absorption and long-term stability.
The massive arm turning system and large support surfaces ensure stable operation even when cutting heavy workpieces.
Large-diameter running wheels combined with precise three-side hardmetal blade guides guarantee accurate blade tracking and extended service life.
The ARG 330 plus F is designed for demanding metal cutting applications such as:
Its powerful gravitation design makes it particularly suitable for operations requiring high precision and long machine durability.
The ARG 330 plus F combines innovative structural engineering with reliable gravitation cutting mechanics. Its hollow arm design, industrial blade size and frequency-controlled cutting speed provide exceptional precision and mechanical stability when processing large metal sections.

Within ANATECO’s product range, the ARG 330 plus F represents a professional heavy-duty solution for industrial metal cutting operations.
Workpiece stop – Standard equipment
Robust stop with a 500mm scale for setting the required length of the material to be cut.
Frequency converter – Standard equipment
Enables continuous blade speed regulation between 15–90 m/min. and thus setting the optimum cutting conditions for the given material.
Pressure device
Used to clamp the bundles of material to be cut. Ensures simple and reliable material clamping using a vertical contact pressure.
Material chute KL
Continuously joins the vice behind the cut and allows for easy slide of cut pieces into a container when cutting larger series. The chute construction consisting of 2 parts prevents leakage of the coolant.
Halogen lamp LA
Provides good lighting of the workplace of the machine. An invaluable tool especially when the lighting at the workplace is insufficient.
Oil mist lubrication MM
Creates an oil mist that is sprayed onto the cutting edge. It replaces the use of a classic coolant, especially when cutting sections during which leakages may occur. Possibility of using organic oils.
Laser alignment LS
High-quality industrial laser projects the cutting line on the material to be cut. Makes the setting of the required material length simpler, faster and more accurate.
Cleaning brush KDM
Steel cleaning brush, driven by driving wheel. Used to remove chips from the saw band behind the cut.
Electrical cleaning brush KDE
Steel circular brush powered by and industrial motor with worm gearbox. Used to remove chips from the saw band behind the cut.
Saw band tension indicator CD
Ensures accurate tensioning of the saw band to a required value according to the pressure gauge and its control during the use of the machine. Optimum tensioning of the saw band is essential for its service life and cutting accuracy.
Auto-start descent of the arm
In standard machines, the control valve of the arm descent has to be shut after the arm uplift and by the next arm descent, the descent speed has to be set again. In this version, the control valve is additionally fitted with an electro-hydraulic valve, which remains after the arm uplift in the set position. After saw blade start, it is automatically released and the arm descents into the cut at a set speed. Thus, setting of the descent speed for each cut falls off. This significantly eliminates operator error and thus protects the saw blades, and increases also productivity of the machine. An ideal help when cutting material in larger series.
