Combining a revolutionary arm casting design with hydraulic assistance, the machine delivers exceptional structural rigidity, precise cutting performance and improved operational efficiency.
Engineered for continuous use in fabrication plants and metalworking workshops, the ARG 330 H.F. provides reliable cutting performance when processing large cross-sections and solid metal materials.
Overview
The ARG 330 H.F. features a completely redesigned bandsaw arm casting built as a hollow closed section along its entire length. This innovative structural concept significantly increases system stiffness and ensures highly accurate cutting even when working with heavy workpieces.
The machine uses an industrial band measuring 34 × 1.1 mm, allowing stable and accurate cutting of large metal sections. Different blade variants are available for processing materials such as structural steel, stainless steel and tool steel.
The hydraulic-gravitation design combines gravity-controlled feed with hydraulic arm lifting. During cutting, the feed into the material is controlled by the weight of the arm and can be finely adjusted using an oil damper butterfly valve.
Once the cut is completed, the band drive stops automatically and the hydraulic unit raises the arm to the preset position, improving productivity and reducing operator effort during repetitive operations.
Advanced arm construction
The hollow closed-section arm casting dramatically increases the rigidity of the cutting system. This structure minimizes vibration and blade deflection, resulting in highly accurate cuts even when processing heavy solid materials.
The arm is mounted on a robust turntable supported on both sides by massive housings equipped with prestressed tapered roller bearings. This design guarantees stable arm positioning and smooth movement during cutting operations.
Electrical wiring and coolant lines are integrated within the hollow arm structure, protecting them from mechanical damage and simplifying machine maintenance.
Access to the arm interior is simplified through a hinged rear cover, allowing quick blade replacement and internal cleaning.
Hydraulic-gravitation operation
The machine combines gravity-controlled cutting feed with hydraulic arm lifting.
The gravity feed ensures stable cutting pressure, while the hydraulic system automatically raises the arm after each cut. This reduces operator workload and increases efficiency during repetitive cutting operations.
The arm uplift height can be adjusted depending on the size of the workpiece, allowing optimized cutting cycles.
Variable blade speed
The integrated frequency converter enables continuous blade speed adjustment between 15 and 90 m/min.
This allows operators to select optimal cutting parameters for a wide variety of materials including:
Correct speed adjustment improves cutting precision and extends saw band service life.
Structural durability
The machine structure is built from heavy grey cast iron castings that absorb vibration and provide excellent long-term stability.
The massive arm turning system and large support surfaces ensure reliable machine positioning even when cutting heavy workpieces.
Large-diameter running wheels and precise three-side hardmetal blade guides further improve cutting accuracy and blade durability.
The ARG 330 H.F. is designed for demanding metal cutting environments such as:
Its hydraulic-gravitation system makes it particularly effective for repetitive cutting operations where operator efficiency and cutting precision are essential.
The ARG 330 H.F. combines innovative structural engineering with hydraulic support and gravity-controlled cutting feed. This configuration provides precise cutting performance while reducing operator effort during repetitive tasks.
With its rigid cast-iron construction, industrial blade size and adjustable cutting speed, the machine offers a reliable and durable solution for demanding metalworking environments.
Within the ANATECO equipment portfolio, the ARG 330 H.F. represents a robust hydraulic-gravitation band saw designed for professional industrial cutting operations.
Workpiece stop – Standard equipment
Robust stop with a 500mm scale for setting the required length of the material to be cut.
Frequency converter – Standard equipment
Enables continuous blade speed regulation between 15–90 m/min. and thus setting the optimum cutting conditions for the given material.
Pressure device
Used to clamp the bundles of material to be cut. Ensures simple and reliable material clamping using a vertical contact pressure.
Material chute KL
Continuously joins the vice behind the cut and allows for easy slide of cut pieces into a container when cutting larger series. The chute construction consisting of 2 parts prevents leakage of the coolant.
Halogen lamp LA
Provides good lighting of the workplace of the machine. An invaluable tool especially when the lighting at the workplace is insufficient.
Oil mist lubrication MM
Creates an oil mist that is sprayed onto the cutting edge. It replaces the use of a classic coolant, especially when cutting sections during which leakages may occur. Possibility of using organic oils.
Laser alignment LS
High-quality industrial laser projects the cutting line on the material to be cut. Makes the setting of the required material length simpler, faster and more accurate.
Cleaning brush KDM
Steel cleaning brush, driven by driving wheel. Used to remove chips from the saw band behind the cut.
Electrical cleaning brush KDE
Steel circular brush powered by and industrial motor with worm gearbox. Used to remove chips from the saw band behind the cut.
Saw band tension indicator CD
Ensures accurate tensioning of the saw band to a required value according to the pressure gauge and its control during the use of the machine. Optimum tensioning of the saw band is essential for its service life and cutting accuracy.
